Typical Day?

Yesterday was the feast of St. Luke. As he is the "physician" it is appropriate to offer Unction to all who may wish to receive it. So I had a service of Morning Prayer, with Unction, at 8:00 am. That afternoon I had a Eucharist (since it was a red letter day) at 4:00 pm, again with Unction; 5 people recieved that day. But in between we had a Deanery Clericus meeting between 10am-2pm in Edmundston (an hour an a half away). I also picked up a colleague in Perth-Andover. That evening I had Vestry, and needed to finalize the agenda. When I got home two parishioners called concerning a death. Is this typical? No. But often the way it goes for the cleric anywhere.
